The Ice Caves at Werfen

The biggest Ice Caves of the world - a unique natural theatre made out of rocks, ice and rainbow colours, the total cave system stretches over 42 km, whereas the Ice covered display part of it is 1km. At the entrance the visitors are provided with mining lamps. In the interior of the caves magnesium lights are used for impressive illumination of the natural ice sculptures.
